Give Me Back That Filet O'Fish!

Who else is being driven mad by this commercial? I had it in my head all of last week and finally was able to purge it over the weekend. Then, I go to Einstein's Bagels for a coffe this morning and one of the employees is singing it and now its back!

Oh well, it back-fired on McDonalds as I caved last week and got me a fish sandwhich, but it was from BK as I hate the Filet O'Fish!

We're suppose to not eat meat on Friday's during lent, so fish is a pretty popular choice instead.

That's what it is, because we see the commercials this time every year. There are over 60 million Catholics in the USA.

Saturday night we went to Frisch's Big Boy for dinner since we had some meal vouchers for the kids. They have a lot of fish specials going on right now, so I wound up ordering the cod fillets. I forgot how good their tarter sauce is in the restaurants where it's made fresh.

The Filet-o-Fish sandwich was actually introduced at a McD's in Cincinnati in the early 60s in response to the restaurant losing all its Friday evening Easter season business to Frisch's.
