Well, actually...Frank Howard is my grandpa's cousin.

I'm, well, nobody.

 

Unfortunately, I know of someone who was putting something like this on his resume. He claimed to have been a QB at "O" State and a grad. Last I heard he impregnated an "exotic" dancer and was under investigation for trying to blackmail people he had worked for. (bet they didn't check his resume very well) Got a "dishonorable" from the Army as well. You can't make this stuff up. Er....maybe you can.

my guess is mr. strassini is in the middle of another plot to swindle at least one unsuspecting victim. i think this thread is doing a lot of good that we'll never know.

I came across something peculiar recently. There's this Buckeyes fan club in Charlotte, that celebrates one former Buckeye All-American Tight End by the name of Giovanni Strassini. He "won the Rose Bowl in 1974 with Archie, Cornelius Green, Pete Johnson and the rest," says the page. He also "caught an 8 yard touchdown pass in the 1976 Rose Bowl", and "was drafted by the Cleveland Browns as the 162nd player picked in the 1977 NFL Draft," according to his Facebook page. Not only that, "Mr. Strassini is also a member of the OSU Football All-Century Team!" say the Charlotte Buckeyes.

Ever heard of this guy? Because I did not.

There are pictures of him claiming to hawk merch with James Cotton. Cotton is a Cleveland native and does a lot of charity work, particularly anti-smoking education to elementary school kids.

And he has apparently gotten himself enshrined at the Charlotte Alumni meeting spot, Strike City.
