haven't heard anything about Willie or Hampton, but Troy is supposed to play

More good news for the Steelers: Nose tackle Casey Hampton and fullback Carey Davis also are expected to play against the Super Bowl champions, Tomlin said, and halfback Willie Parker will practice today and has improved since he reinjured his sprained left knee in practice Oct. 13.

Steelers Notebook: Tomlin upbeat about Polamalu

All in on the "blind-side guy" Hines Ward and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hey guys, I was in the stands on Sunday at the Bengals - Steelers game. I can safely say that I didn't think the hit was dirty when it happened. It didn't draw a flag. So, why would it be dirty? He has always done things like this. And, a Ravens player coming out and bashing the Steelers for being "dirty" is laughable. We didn't complain when they nearly sacked Big Ben to death in 2006 when Pittsburgh played at Baltimore. It's part of the game. If it doesn't get a flag, it's legal. Any injury caused by any hit is unfortunate. But, if it's a clean play, there should be no liability.

Parker missed most of practice today and probably won't play Sunday. The Mewelde Moore pick up is looking better and better all the time.

This injury to Willie could be a blessing in disguise. He has had alot of carries the last two seasons, even with the broken leg last year. A little less wear and tear on him come playoff time would pay huge dividends. Good to see Casey getting himself back on the field, his pressence in the middle of an already smothering defense is scary. Can't wait for this weekend to get here.

My wife is saying Toothlessberger is throwing like a girl.......as he skips a pass to Hines Ward yet again :slappy:

The Giants are exposing a weakness the Steelers have had for a while. If you can get consistent pressure on BR, his accuracy suffers and he tends to throw picks.

And the injuries to the Steelers RBs is really showing itself to be a problem now too IMO....
