Gettin' serious bout some HOT WINGS

I've never heard of Winking Lizard.. where is it?
23 & 270 (north), near marcus cinema. Also on Bethel near Kenny.

The sauces aren't that special, but the wings are usually juicy, fresh and meaty. Not unnaturally huge like Roosters, but not skimpy like many places either.

I go there for some cheap tasty wings more than great wings.

Buffalo's Pine Cafe, here in Nerk-hot
Roosters - 49cent wings on mondays- Super Killers
B-dubs- blazin' with a side of wild

Ever been to Jacktown Pub on 13 south of Newark? We go over there from Buckeye Lake some and their pizza and wings are pretty good. Maybe I'm just starving when we go there which makes it better. I think that's the case with most of the places around the lake as well.

Quaker Steak & Lube originated in Sharon, PA. I've been there several times and visited some of their newer sites in other locations. The quality in the other locations has never matched what I've gotten at the original. Their Louisiana Lickers are the best wings for my money, but only if I make the trip up the road to Sharon. They're just not the same elsewhere.

I got my first taste of hot wings at BW3 just off High, North Campus (I think that's Woodruff) my freshman year. I used to live for 10 cent wing night (yeah, they really were 10 cents). I still like BW3 as well.

Dammit, now I'm all hungry and shit.

Crazy. Been there, but just to drink. Michaels pizza, right across the street, bought the Buffalo Pine Cafe here in Nerk, and kept the same menu, but added their pizza. :banger:

I'll have to try the wings next time I'm out that way...

May just go there tonight. Been wanting to hit up a different bar.

I have never been a huge fan of the Lube, same as others used to go to the original in Sharon when I live in Y-town and remember it being good, but the one down here does nothing for me.

I am partial to Bdubs, but will definitely be going to try out the new Buffalo Wings and Rings on 23 in Lewis Center when it opens. They are from Cinci and back in the day when Bdubs wings were bite sized they blew them away. It is supposed to open this week. Hoggy's also has good wings, but they can be inconsistent and sometimes completely undercooked.

As far as wings go, they [censored]in' suck. Smothering them in Montgomery Inn BBQ sauce didn't even help them.

Different strokes for different folks. Hooters hot are good. Gotta get them breaded.

Personally, I think B-dubs wings are awful, but most Midwesterners think that's sacrilege.

And Montgomery Inn's food was pretty good, but the BBQ sauce comes up far short compared to some Dinosaur BBQ.

Truth.

Go to the original in Sharon, PA for the best wings you'll ever have.

1. Louisiana Lickers
2. Arizona Ranch
3. Buckeye BBQ

Any sauce that isn't some variation of mild/medium/hot isn't wings IMO. With the exception of Louisiana Lickers sauce at the Lube.
Sorry if I'm overdoing it on the wing thread, but I'm still pissed off at a jackass that I work with deciding that good choices for pizza at lunch were 2 buffalo chicken, 1 BBQ chicken, and a works. Where the fuck is the normal pizza???? Give me something with some regular pizza meat on it. If you buy 4 pizzas 3 of them shouldn't be chicken. Fucking chicken doesn't belong on pizza. [/rant]

it should be mentioned that all the places mentioned have equally good beer....

Probably why I frequent Bdubs and the Lizard are their quality Draft Beer selections

Best wings I had in Columbus:

1) Mad Mex - Phenomenal selection of draughts to go with great wings. A must go for happy hour.
2) Barley's
3) Thurman Cafe

Where is this "Mad Mex" you speak of?
