I don't know when that commercial was filmed, but in 1994-95 that game was played as a home-and-home for some reason, including the infamous game where Spurrier "hung half-a-hundred between the hedges" because he heard that no one had ever done that before.

that some reason was the rehab of the old Gator bowl. Stadium was closed for a season so they went home and home.

fun fact. After Florida beat UGA in Athens, the Braves beat Cleveland to win the World Series about 3 hours later
