Georgia 42, Florida 30 (final)

This is the worst piece of shit referee's crew I've ever seen! Somebody's going to get hurt this game and these jackasses are up Urban Meyer's ass so deep they can chew the same piece of bubble gum!

That hit on Stafford should not be a penalty. No Whistle was blown, no one was moving, and from behind the line , you can't see Stafford's knee.

He acts like he's taking a knee, but the ref never blows the whistle. He sits there for nealr 3 seconds, no whistle. Defender says to himself "Shit. He aint down. Hit him"

Refs baited UF into that penalty

Players are accountable for knowing the situation. They should not need a whistle to see that Stafford clearly took a knee.

That's the point, it wasn't clear the play was over because the whistle never blew. My X-Ray vision is failing these days. Can you see through two offensive linemen?

If he can't see, why did he jump through?

Look, he WAS taking advantage of the officails failure to blow a whistle. I see your point, but florida got docked for this type of thing against Auburn and should have learned from that by now.

No doubt the refs dicked that entire situation up. But as it went with the personal foul and the following foul on the next play, they basically just called a redo. Florida players were baited -- you could see they held off when they saw him go down, but when the whistle didn't go off they had to do something. I say they let Stafford take a shot at the ref who swallowed his whistle.

But as a defensive player, you play until the whistle. What would have happened had Stafford said "Hey!! They didn't blow the whistle and defense is relaxing. Run!!" and he scores?

As a defensive player, you play untilt he whistle blows. As far as the defensive player can tell, Stafford isn't down. No one blew a whistle.
