Georgia 26, Alabama 23 (Final OT)

So, Nick Saban is getting a lot of love in 'Bama because of their comeback win in the last 10 seconds against Arkansas last week. They hadn't had a 4th-quarter comeback in the last few years under Dave Shula.

Well, Saban only got in position to have a comeback win by TWICE BLOWING 21-point leads against Arkansas last week, so I'm calling BULLSHIT on giving him credit for a huge 'comeback' win.

Go 'Dawgs!

Geez, how many years ago did they establish the overtime rules? If they have to explained to you at this point, you probably don't care.

Bama kicks a FG in OT, and Georgia comes out on their first play and goes over the top for the game-winning TD. It's a good thing, because the play-by-play guy for ESPN inexplicably started yammering about Britney Spears (?!) during the change in possession.

I think Mike Patrick must have some sort of mental illness...there is no other explanation. Because not only did he bring that up out of nowhere in between the changeover in OT, leaving Blackledge speechless (no small task itself), but he just said "What's going on with Brittney" like everyone in the world knew what he was talking about and why he was bringing it up. That might be the single weirdest thing I've ever seen.

That comment he made about Spears was probably one of the most awkward situations i've seen during a television broadcast. The other announcer(s) we're all kind of in like disbelief as if saying to themselves "what the fuck is he talking about now?" and finally, blackledge I believe spoke up and said "I dont think anyone cares about that right now in the midst of this game" or something along those lines...either way it was just a weird event.
