In 2001 he took over a team that Butch Davis had stocked with NFL players and won a national title. His teams got worse every single year from that point on as Butch's players graduated/moved on.

Chizik at least brought in Newton under his own watch. Coker inherited an entire team and slowly ran it into the ground.
