George Brown (OL - Florida de-commit; LSU signee; transfer to Miami FL)

I haven't watched any of his film, I'm not an expert on it anyway, but seeing his offer list makes me wonder why OSU hasn't offered.

Just speculating, but perhaps there is still residual damage in the relationship with the Brown"s, originating from the Aaron Brown recruitment of +/- 10 years ago. This was also reportedly a factor in the Spencer Ware recruitment. In both earlier cases that was a different staff at OSU, and I can't imagine Meyer wouldn't go after any top Ohio prospect that projects as good enough to play at OSU. I hope H&G checks in, as he is the one guy that could likely provide some good info on this situation.

I completely forgot that he was related to Aaron Brown. I remember that one clearly. That could explain it. But I would think they would at least toss their hat in the ring with Coombs on staff and he's a Colerain legend. Just curious though.

Rivals $ - Buckeyes still a factor for Brown?

4/29

By Givler....Visited a couple weeks ago & really likes Coach Johnson & Coach Warinner. Was told by the staff he's next on the list of Offensive Tackles to be offered in the area. Hearing the most from Florida, Kentucky, Georgia & LSU. An offer from OSU would factor in to his recruitment.

I PM'd info awhile back and forgot to follow up here. I will just say that the lack of an offer isn't always a bad thing.
