Yep, this rumor has been getting a lot of play.
Can't confirm, but I'd be willing to put a nice wager on the booster being Bobby Lowder.
That's the guy who tried to get Petrino behind Tubby's back after/during the '03 season.

I didn't know Sexton repped Chizik as well. That just add to the sweetness of it all.

Them idiots on the plains may have flushed any chance at competing in the west right down the shitter. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of retarded redneck pricks.

Actually amazingly enough the rumor is that it wasn't Lowder, but ole Yeller Feller Jimmy Rane. Supposedly he has all the SEC coach's numbers since he does commercials with all of them. Also Sexton is Saben's agent too I think, and getting Chizik in at Allbarn certainly doesn't hurt ole Nick.

But no matter who called or if a call took place. The War TigerEaglesPlainsman look like fools. And I think fans of just about every team in the south can agree that's a good thing.

yeah, Sexton is alson Saban's agent (or at least was when Saban was at LSU)

Some B10 schools needs to take some of their B10 Network Silly money and hire Chizik as their D Coordinator.

If we are going to constantly laud the merits of adding teams to our conference based on the financial benefits it adds to the B10 payout, then its about time schools other than tOSU and Michigan start paying top dollar or even above market rates to get good coaches and good recruiters in this conference.

Re: Auburn said the total buyout for Chizik and his assistant coaches is $11.09 million. Chizik's buyout will total $7.5 million and be paid in monthly installments of $208,334 for the next 36 months. The deal calls for Chizik to make "reasonable" efforts to land a new job, with that salary deducted from the buyout.

If he wanted the job he'd come real cheap. The most he'll get is the buyout so why not let Auburn pay him.
