With Brohm doubtful, I gotta go with VT.
The quarterback for JMU (James Madison Univ.) was on the AM sports radio here in Virginia last week and said he transferred from Louisville because, in addition to Brohm, the backup QB was so good. He said not to expect a drop-off. I don't think the radio show hosts believed him, nor did anyone who was listening. Maybe they will now.

ps. Jimmy Williams got ejected because he ran into a ref, and when Louisville scored on a pass play, he got in the refs face and bitched him out. What an idiot.

Score: Louisville 14 Va Tech 3 (1:00 left in the 1st Quarter)

What happened?

He ran into a ref, kind of shoved him, and then bitched him out. It just shows the class that they show in Blacksburg.

Now that I think of it, I'm not surprised that they're losing. The Chokies play like shit in every big game they play.

Honestly, this school has the worst tradition I've ever seen. Michael and Marcus Vick are the only good things that have ever happened to that program, and the fans here in Virginia make sure to tell you how sweet they are. The Hokies shouldn't even be in this game. They are faced with an easy schedule every season, and then when they play better than average programs, they fall to pieces.

that was ridiculous. and again, it shows the little class that Va Tech has, and the little class that the Vick brothers have.

Definitely. This is honest to God enraging, and making me sick watching VT pull away. They are as classless of a university as I've ever seen. Watching Vick stomp on that guy for Louisville (and get away with it), was almost too much to take.

Absolutely agreed. I've wondered many times when Va Tech will realize that Marcus Vick isn't worth the problems he introduces to his school. No one will argue that he's a talented football player; however, last season's year-long suspension, and his actions this year (including throwing the ball at an opposing player and yesterday's trampling of an opponent) are ridiculous events.

I heard on Sportscenter this morning that Beamer required Vick to go to the Louisville locker room after yesterday's game to apologize. However, I then heard on Around the Horn tonight that he didn't apologize. Big surprise.

Vick has shown his immaturity at several points during his time at Va Tech, and he should be ashamed of himself. However, he is not the only one at fault here. It seems that Beamer refuses to take any action that might remedy the situation. I heard of no actions taken against Vick after he threw the ball at the WVU player (I think it was WVU), nor have I heard of any after Vick's latest antic. Accordingly, I think Beamer's action (or lack thereof) is reprehensible. He's caused me to lose any respect I had for him as a coach, as he's proven that he can't control his players and that he'll let his players make the university's name look bad. I also think that fault lies with the Va Tech administration. As said before, Vick's repeated poor actions on the field reflect badly on Va Tech as an institution, and negative publicity is compounded by the fact that the coach doesn't take any action to remedy the situation.

Yesterday's incident was just the latest by Vick which make Va Tech look really, really bad in the public eye.

This is a great post, dude. I went back to school today, and all the VT fans were laughing and joking around about Vick stepping on the player. It shows how pitiful and pathetic the fans and the school are. The reason Frank Beamer won't do anything about these certain situations is becase he doesn't have the balls and class to suspend star players because he knows, as well as everyone else in the nation, that they are an overrated football team, and they need their star players to play and perform well in big games. Maybe if he discliplined his football team more, then situations like these wouldn't occur as often, for VT.
