Garcia In - Couch Out?

Packers fan here too. What a great sports franchise! Cleveland, on the other hand, sucks!!!!!!!!!

It was really easy to become a Packer fan when I moved here. The fans, city, team, tailgating... you name it, it's head a shoulders about every thing else out there (in pro football, of course). I'm really into tailgating and Lambeau comes really close to The Horseshoe atmosphere.

Gotta love it.

I know the guy whose restaurant does the pre-game meals for the Packers. He has some pretty funny stories.

One was the team switched restaurants a couple of years ago and one of the players called his agent and demanded they go back to the old caterer otherwise he was gone. Guess they switched back.

Another was this year when they were flying to Phil. for the playoff game. The defense ordered meals to go and ate them on the flight over. The owner simply mentioned that the defense did not throw the interception at the end of the game.

I heard a funny story when I first moved to MI from a couple of Packer fans. It was a radio interview with Kevin Butler, former kicker for the Bears. He talked about how intimidating it was to play in GB. He said you walked in there and everyone is swearing and spitting at you. They are dirty and most have no teeth. Then he said, "Then there are the guys."

Great team, great town, great tradition. At least the Browns made a step in the right direction in hiring Ron Wolf as a consultant.
