Hey Buckeye fans!

I am a student at the University of Oregon (I know, you guys killed us in the Rose Bowl a few years back) and am doing some research on the fan experiences on gameday across the country. I know that The Ohio State University is a huge school with a great football tradition so I wanted to see if you guys had any input for my research.

I am looking at what makes gameday in Columbus so special? What sort of activities do fans take part in pregame? Are there particular traditions that create an exciting atmosphere? Thanks for your input guys, I know you all love the Buckeyes and can provide some great insight!

Carmen Ohio is a big one for me. The general gameday routine of waking up at 8 hungover, taking a shower (usually while drinking your first hair of the dog beer), and then hitting the tailgate scene. If you haven't tailgated at Ohio State, you haven't tailgated.

Thanks for the input so far.

What are pregame festivities like? Is it mostly tailgating or are there organized events that the AD puts on for fans? What seems most popular for fans?

Skull Session is a band pregame warmup peprally type event.

Rally at Riverwatch is another big event that happens at the Riverwatch tower.

this guy is spamming all over.

I am trying to get insight from different schools in different areas of the country. In no way did I intend for this thread to be perceived as annoying, I am just looking for input from die-hard fans from across the country in the name of research. I apologize if it came off as spam in any way.
