Agree. This is a scrimamge and we should be playing our stars. TS is the quarterback, not the running back.

SDSU obviously planned to catch the Buckeyes napping and hungover from the Texas loss. I didn't hear Karsatos, but they just said that he said the team did not have a good week preparing. Hard to believe for a Tressel team.

My guess is that they caught us on the first play and have been playing way over their heads on defense. Our guys have been down and out of sync. I still think this is gonna be a blow out and things will get untracked.

nah, theres just no energy right now. a loss like last week will do that to you. how many times have great teams billed to go all the way lost a tough one then lost the next game regardless of the competition? this is a gut check for us. i don't think there is any reason for us to be conscerned just yet. even if we hadn't have had the excellent return by holmes or the td by smith.

what we need to see is that fire and swager to come back as the game goes on. people aren't jumping around excited to be playing. they need to be.

I thought they said Jim Lachey said that? But yeah, I would have expected some pretty intense practice...I suspect that opening score woke up the D
