Game thread: Texas 40, Texas A&M 29 (Final)

I know, the whatifs are killing me.

Was VY feeling ok during this game? Besides errant passes, he also was not much of a vocal leader on the sidelines (very different than what I saw during teh OSU and OU games at times).

After Colorado got smoked by Nebraska today, I can't see any team, even Iowa State, giving Texas any kind of game in the championship. Looks like USC-Texas to me as long as UCLA doesn't do the impossible.

And it doesn't really matter how "good or bad" they won...they are 11-0 or whatever, and that's all that matters...as long as there aren't 3 undefeated teams. Texas and USC are both beatable this year, but the bottom line is that no one has done it, so they deserve to get to the title game (if they both win out, that is).

I absolutely agree. I just finished watching the KU-ISU game, and it was incredibly ugly. The fact that ISU had a chance to represent the Big XII north if it would have won today showed just how weak the Big XII north is. So instead of facing a team that couldn't beat Kansas, UT will now have to play a team that got crushed at home by a very, very mediocre Nebraska team yesterday. UT will likely be favored by 20+, and I think they'll win by 30+.
