I just don't see this team playing well against a strong opponent - I think they will fold. Plus, PSU looks very focused now - don't see them laying an egg - but wouldn't mind if I was wrong.:)

MSU was not as good last year, and they took down Wisky (a very similar type of team IMO) at the end of the year. Stanton is a tough kid, and that is a very talented offense.

This all begs the question of "Should we root against MSU this week?" Personally, I figure a 5-5 team fighting for bowl eligibility is much tougher than a 6-4 team that knows they're getting on a bus and motoring to Detroit in a month, but then again, coming in with...would that be 3 straight losses then?...wouldn't exactly inspire confidence either...

Even if they are 6-4, they will still be fighting for a better bowl, and trying to keep the coach that they love (I think he's a pretty popular coach with the players from what I've seen).
