stupid, stupid, stupid. there should have been no running play, and croyle should not have dumped off underneath for a short gainer. who cares about first down? you won't have enough time for more than four plays anyway! also, out-throwing your receiver should not happen. you throw it short and give your receiver an opportunity. if it's intercepted, it doesn't matter.

'Bama's offense was absolutely abysmal. You can't expect their defense to hold teams to under 10 points every game. Therefore, they deserved to lose.

Does anyone think that we'll jump ahead of 'Bama. I was just wondering because not many people thought that they were for real in the first place.

as long as auburn beats georgia and/or alabama, osu's cause will be aided. we should just hope for the sec championship winner to be the only team ahead of us. well, i guess that's not an accurate statement, as the bcs bowls do not choose based on the bcs ranking alone.

I think we might jump them in the human polls.

The media has been none to subtle about hyping a ND vs OSu fiesta and hyping OSU for the BCS at large in general. Also the media loves to crucify those who win ugly when they finally lose one.

I still say take care of business and we're BCS bound.

i think that the fiesta bowl committee members would not want osu unless notre dame is the other team. while our fans certainly travel and spend, i think that there will be far more of us if our opponent is notre dame that if it is a team from the sec or acc.

edit: then again, whom would the fiesta bowl choose over ohio state? they know ohio state's fans can bring it.
