They don't deserve it. They lost their opener, and the only time after that that most voters saw them was when they pounded VaTech in Blacksburg. But in about 1:18 they won't be number 3 anymore.
This will clinch the BCS bid for tOSU. Only Oregon will complain, but hardly anybody will listen to them.

That was pretty pathetic for a team "hoping to sneak in to the National Title Game"
Oh, and if there was any doubt as to the worst fans in the country in terms of supporting their team, this game erased it. Did they get loud when the D needed them? Nope, they just booed for 9/10 of the game. Oh well, I guess when football started in 1983 and "Probation Years" don't count, expectations are pretty high.
