Game thread: Georgia Tech 14, Miami 10 (final)

they could have also asked, "who has lost the most".

if you didn't hear, florida state who is 1-4.

I already gave the answer on the first page.

It was kinda a funny question, because as soon as they asked it, they showed a view of miami's national championship years on a banner inside the stadium. That could have thrown off a couple of people trying to answers.

don't we want miami to win? miami in the orange bowl be a great thing for osu's chances at a bcs bowl. with miami playing in the orange bowl, virginia tech and oregon run a very distant 2nd and 3rd to ohio state for the other orange bowl competitor. or is that we want miami to lose because it would guarantee that two acc teams don't make it?

if miami is in the orange bowl, ohio state in a bcs bowl game has to be a lock.

I'm rooting against Miami because I think they are frauds........simple enough.

I have a feeling that we will find a way into a BCS game, we travel so damn well......and have lost to 2 of the top 5 teams in the country this season.....barely.

NO, we want Miami to loss. We would jump them, and then only one ACC team will get in. This will leave the decision between us and Orego for the final at large...granted ND gets the first...

I think we want Miami to lose. They'd be out of the ACC title game, and it'd put VT back in the ACC title game. Right now, if Miami were to win and VT snuck up to #4 in the BCS standings, VT would be automatically in and the Bucks would be SOL. Plus there is still some pressure to include them as an at-large as a one-loss team - even without winning their own division in their conference. Getting VT back in the title game means they'd either take the conference spot rather than the at-large, or they could lose to Free Shoes and be out of at-large contention.
