The ACC is a weak, weak, weak conference. It gets annoying as hell to here people here on the Atlantic Coast bragging about how sweet they are. Miami is the only quality team in the ACC (in my mind). VT is okay, other than that, it pretty much sucks.

I am happy, though, that FSU lost because I can't stand them, at all.

Keep in mind FSU still has to play UF before the ACC title game.

A 7-4 team could very well be playing for the ACC championship....I don't care who you are, thats funny right there.

Be even funnier if they win it.

FSU vs. UF is always big, but how about now with both teams limping to the finish? The Gator boosters must be howling right about now, and the Seminoles might have a lot of "swagger", but talking and strutting doesn't get it done. Interesting matchup. The loser will catch hell.

Here is another bit of good news from the day.

If WSU can beat Oregon tonight all 3 teams behind us (oregon, UF and TT) will have lost today. With the new tweak to the BCS system picking up those votes will be important.

It would be a stretch but we could still end up in the BCS top 4 and end all the speculation that way. The human pollsters would have to put us ahead of VT and Bama while UGA and LSU dropped one more apiece. If we could get close to Miami in the human polls we could jump them.

Lots of big IF's and a lot would still have to happen but the main thing is obviously to beat scUM and then hope Sparty decides to play at least one more game this year. I still think we get the at large bid if we beat scUM regardless of what PSU does.

I can do you all one better from the Jacksonville area.

FSU, UGA and UF all lost. Thats 90% of the local's coverd in one fell swoop.

Needless to say, I'm a happy mofo.
