Well, I havent posted tonight about the game, but I want to say that this...

Troy Smith is not consistent enough to run a spread offense. Its time to rethink this so called offense which is nothing more than running Smith 10-15 times a game on the option.....Pittman got just 15 carries....not enough to make an impact.

Pathetic showing by the offense once again and its been 2 plus years of the same pathetic offense, I for one am tired of watching it.

How can we lose to a team that did nothing...
Is there ANYTHING about their offense that you remember...

Troy Smith is not the answer at QB. He is a run first QB and he's always going to look to run first.

He does not go through his progressions and has ZERO touch on his throws.

That said, with the O line playing the way it does against good defenses, he is still the best option at QB.

did any of you watch this game? I realize BN is probably too full of flamers to post over there, but how many times did our blockers miss assignments?

It's called a good defense. It makes you look bad. We had some great drives, and our WRs were open A LOT, but their pressure made it really hard to get them the ball.

We lost barton. Our OT got dominated all game long.

name ONE time he ran first. Just one. I'd love to hear it. It NEVER happened. At least come up with an intelligent reason to bash him.

The Barton injury hurt the line's continuity and execution, but those things are going to happen.

Congrats to JoePa - looks like Penn State is back.

Let's try to show some restraint on this board.

Compare the offensive sets from 2002 to this year and you will see change...however, there has been one common denominator, poor o-line play.

If you want to hear me complain about any aspect of this team, that would be it. I do not agree at with our OL philosophy.

Thats all and well, theres a thing called playing the hype, the bucks played the hype tonight and lost. Penn havent suddenly transformed into a powerhouse after two losing seasons.
