Game 6 (Lakers (+4.5) at Boston

Quite a bit of money being laid on the Lakers:!. This is a way a seven-game playoff always goes when one of the teams wins one of the away games. They always win the sixth or seventh game at home. Almost makes you think the playoffs might be fixed:lol:

The Lakers have been playing as sloppily as they ever have been...
yet they can beat a Celtics team that is playing the best they play.

That's why I think Phil Jackson can whip his boys into winning two in Boston.

Go Lakers.

There was some truth to his post. I've never seen James Posey, Eddie House, or Leon Powe play as good as games as they have this series. Especially James Posey.

Well, the Lakers haven't really played their game yet this series, I have to question whether or not they will have the chance. Tuesday is going to be a telling tale for the Lake Show. I hope the Lakers win, but seeing as how they have performed thus far in the finals, leaves me to doubt that they will. Even yesterday, with the win, it was a sloppy game.

Yeah, Boston has been dictating the pace and playing the game how they wanted the entire series.

Every game I watched of the Lakers this year they were the best looking team in terms of passing and ball movement. It has all but completely disappeared in the Finals through 5 games.

When they have clicked they have looked really good (the first half of game 4 and 5), but just haven't been consistent enough for the entire game once.

Also, part of me thinks that Kobe should be do for a break out, "here's why I am the mvp" type game, but Boston is keeping him in check. His performance Tuesday will be key, along with Odom and Gasol, if all three can get a good game going, they stand a good chance, but if on one or two of them show up *gulp*.

During this series, they have managed to keep at least one third of that trio down, so we'll see.

I don't know what it is, but Vegas really hasn't given the Celtics a lot of points in any of their series, I believe game 1 was a pickem, game two they were -2.5, game three the Lakers were favored by 9.5, four the Lakers by 7.5, and 10.5 yesterday. And for this, Celtics are only giving four.

While the Lakers could win two in Boston, the notion that Boston is "playing the best they play" isn't even close. Both teams have been inconsistent as hell in this series. That's why we've seen the blown leads, comebacks, near comebacks, etc..

Gotta bad vibe about tonight. Perkins looks iffy again, the flight back from LA took all day yesterday, Ray Allen's kid issues, and a sense of desperation for the Lakers. People are acting like it's automatic the Celts will win because they're home...maybe even some of the Celts themselves.

I'm picking LA tonight and hoping I'm wrong.
Beat LA! Beat LA!
