I stopped by the Worthington Summer League where a number of future, current and former buckeye players compete along with many other Ohioans. Got to see firsthand how outstanding Sylvester Mayes and Ronald Lewis are... and Brayden Bell will add depth and versatility (perimeter shooting) to the 5 position. Also got shots of former buckeyes competing (like Penn and Fuss-Cheatum) as well as graduates in the stands (Michael Redd was there but did not make the final cut for the gallery). It was a great atmosphere where the players stopped during timeouts and would interact with the kids.

Brayden showed some good range, however the defense in tihs summer league is a little suspect. He did not seem too sluggish to me however despite the rumors of that being the case.
Scoonie Penn looks like he could still take us to another final four... it was very nostalgic watching him run the offense... especially up close for the first time. The last picture was included because of the humorous pose of Scoonie as well as the scary eyes on the right...
Dials looked to be in great shape. I'm eager to see what he can do with a little bit of help off the bench from Bell, enabling him to actually rest once in a while. He was a presence inside on both ends of the floor.
It was great to see how recruits, current players and former Ohioans (both buckeyes and others) all hung out together. Pictured here is former buckeye Brian Brown talking to Foster and Dials after their game.
Matt Terwilliger showed some decent range but did not get the ball enough to properly gauge his talent. I really wanted to see Sylvester play, but his sandals suggested he may have been sitting out for an injury or something like that.
Ronald Lewis was a treat to watch... I see why the staff felt he was the best player on the team last year despite how good Dials is... (to clarify, he had to sit out 04-05 due to transferring from BG)
BFC seemed to have put on a couple of pounds but could still fly pretty well... he schooled the defenders that tried to guard him tightly...
Horrendous traffic all the way from SW MI caused me to miss most of the Buckeye Corner game, so I did not have a chance to get a good picture of Sylvester Mayes... but the kid is lightning off the dribble.
