2027 GA QB Teddy Jarrard (Notre Dame Verbal)

How come never see anyone thank Mark Pantoni with/for the offers? Probably starts with MP anyway.....just an idle musing.
MP doesn't send out the offers, or really interact with the players until they are on the campus(from what I've followed). But I could be wrong. The coaches are the guys who keep in constant contact with players, especially many of the assistants(i.e Billy Fessler, Devin Jordan, and at one time even Keenan Bailey and Laurinitis).

Guess never thought of it that way. Did figure that Pantoni didn't spend his time on phone with recruit, seeing as how he doesn't know the intricacies of the particular position, but where missed the rail is that he might/would give the coach all the particulars of the kid before recruit visits, favorite ice cream, etc as background. Thanks for clearing away the fog.....

From what I've seen, MP(and his team) gets the preliminary info on the recruits and then passes it along to the coaches who then start the communication process. That's why his role is so invaluable to the program. But yes, he/they get the likes, dislikes, etc for the coaches(though with kids now, social media does some of the heavy lifting). ALways glad to help Cali

Mark used to be the first point of contact for most guys. But that was back for like the first few years. Then they kind of gave him his own room and he has subordinates who handle that stuff now, like you said. An underrated guy in all of this is Tim Hinton. He does a lot of the work with maintaining relationships with coaches and programs. Especially in Ohio.

Can’t forget Ed Terwilliger. You even see some recruits tag him when they announce an offer.
