Interesting final 3. With the recent George Fitzpatrick commitment, I wonder if he's still a "take" for Ohio State....

On Ohio State: “Ohio State is just a great football program. They’ve got a lot to offer football-wise, coach Stud has sent a lot of guys to the NFL. He really helps you grow on and off the field. Their culture is also really, really good. Coach Day has done a fantastic job. Spending some time with their offensive linemen and seeing how they all interact with each other, there’s no division whatsoever. Their walk-ons, first string, fourth string, all hanging out together and I thought that was really cool. Then Ohio State has the largest living alumni base which was pretty cool, too.”

The plan has been to make a decision before his senior season kicks off and he is still on track to do just that.

“It’ll probably be like the first week of August,” he stated. “I’m still trying to figure a couple of things out, but early August.”

I think this section is more interesting, given the crystal ball submission...

On Tennessee: “I feel like the new staff is bringing a really good culture to the team. I feel like the new system they have will do really well in the SEC. It’s definitely a gamble to see if it will work, but I think it will. What they do is good for offensive linemen and keeps the defensive linemen on their heels so I like that.”
Buying into a gimmicky hurry up air raid offense 1) doing well in the SEC and 2) somehow being specifically beneficial to the offensive line is quite the one-two punch of hot takes. But best of all, you lead with the culture at Tennessee being a plus? If he’s buying what Tennessee is selling on that, it’s easy to see why they’re the favorite.
