G/F Evan "The Villain" Turner (2010 Naismith Winner)

i think brad stevens found his point guard for his system...the system that helped evan become player of the year...

he does'nt need 20 points a night, but if he can get him around 15, 9, 9, the team always has a great chance to win. when one player can account for that much production thats 9 or 10 rebounds the defense inst getting, 9 or 10 assists that get the other players going, and 15-20 points on top of it...i would love for evan turner to be "the guy" for the celtics playoff run...

VIDEO: OHIO STATE HANGS EVAN TURNER'S NO. 21 IN SCHOTTENSTEIN RAFTERS

Evan Turner was a former National Player of the Year at Ohio State during a year he daggered Michigan from halfcourt in the 2010 Big Ten tournament.

So it's only appropriate Ohio State honored the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft during halftime of Ohio State's home clash with Michigan. (The Buckeyes surprisingly staked themselves to a 36-28 lead at the break.)

Turner averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game during the 2009-10 season when he was named the Associated Press Player of the Year, won the Oscar Robertson Trophy, Naismith Award and Wooden Award. He was a first team All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year.

Turner's No. 21 now hangs next to Jim Jackson's No. 22 in the Schottenstein Center's rafters. He is the fifth Buckeye to earn the honor. Afterwards, Turner addressed the crowd:

I think Evan Turner has thanked literally every teammate he had at Ohio State.
