Amber Stokes signed a free-agent contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars and headed to her first WNBA training camp today in Texas.
Stokes was a fifth-year senior at Ohio State this past season and a two-time member of the all-Big Ten defensive team. She was the conference defensive player of the year in 2011-12.
Stokes is from Gahanna and her father, Ron, is a former Ohio State player.
