Future Football Schedules (Updated 11/21/2023)

Is this where we cry about starting on the road against a B1G team? Oh wait...that's the pedsters.
Speaking of crying, how'd you like to be Tom Allen? Two years ago you just get the program to where it looks like you might be able to finish in the middle of the conference, you beat one of the Big Three, next season starts off looking good and then the injuries start, this year you're 0 for October and November, and then they have you open at home against Ohio State. Pauvre petite.

I might have to get my old ass to Washington.

I'm very much looking forward to going out to Washington. That view from my couch a few years ago looked gorgeous.

(Cue us cancelling that game with them in favor of a couple home games against Akron and BG)

Every time I see this bumped, I assume it's for the cancellation of the Washington game.

Goooooooodddddddddddddd dammit

so....why?
I'm guessing that the B1G has quietly let Ohio State and tsun know that they'll be playing in LA the first or second year after USCLA join, and Ohio State didn't want to play two West Coast games. Also count on the pedsters to scream like they're being shower raped that giving the first USCLA games to Ohio State and tsun is all part of the grand conspiracy to keep them down.

Hey Akron - how about another 2 game matchup??

Come on down and assume the position, Fredo.

You guys are all idiots. Ryan Day is doing this to avoid losses.

Ohio State cancelled the upcoming series with Washington scheduled in 2024 and 2025. They still are playing Texas in 2025, so that's obviously solid but the 2024 is apparently now going to be all non-P5 and possibly 8 home games.

I'd love to see PSU jump in and pick up Washington in 2025 (home) and 2026 (away) if Washington were willing. We need to get out of the stupid Temple series in 2026/27 anyway and this would give us the chance to make those schedules decent.

I don't. I fear Kalen DeBoer. Obviously so does Ryan Day. The last time DeBoer had an 11-2 season, he followed up by going 56-1 with 3 natties in the next four years.

It happened once, so of course it'll happen again. 11-2 in 2005 with Sioux Falls. Who? They're in the NAIA. Then 14-0, 13-1, 14-0, and 15-0, and then he went on to Southern Illinois to be an offensive coordinator.

For fuck's sake, nobody has played a more prestigious OOC schedule in the B1G and arguably the entire country than Ohio State over the last 20 years. Just go back and look at the home-and-home series we've had: Texas, USC, Miami, Washington, Oklahoma, Oregon, Cal (scheduled when they were good), VaTech (back when they were good). And I'm sure that I'm missing a couple.

Now, go back to soap battling in the shower, pedsters.
