A bad day in general for the state of North Carolina, as Southern Miss is trouncing NC State, 30-10, at the end of the third quarter (although East Carolina squeaked out a victory over Memphis, 35-20).

Bunting the NC coach is like Correll Buckhalter...despite contributing next to nothing, he seems to keep a job and get paid every year..but at least poor Buckhalter has injuries to blame. Bunting seems to get that "signature win" (a la Miami a few years ago) and still go 5-6 every year, yet not get fired. Don't understand it, but he is still there.
