On our way back this morning from near Columbus the missus and I were listening to the noon-time 1460 call-in show and replays of the games big plays.

The hosts were filling in with tidbits of colorful news. Great stuff and all very pro-Buckeye dontcha know.

Seems like one of sCUM's Athletic Department staffers was complaining that their team was delayed a whole 10 minutes while their bus was searched -- as part of a standard security measure put in place for The Game.

Better yet this same fool had the gall to insinuate that the (brief) delay played a role in "putting his team off balance" and might have contrbuted to their "slow start" and "overall poor performance."

Really -- I am not making this up.

Slow start..they scored on 2 straight drives and made our defense look like swiss cheese. Then they got their asses kicked the rest of the game. What a bunch of losers...At least when we were getting it handed to us during the dark ages of the Michigan rivalry (i.e. John Cooper) we took it like men...

I think it did throw them off balance. In michigan's earlier games this year they started slow and finished strong. This game the wolverines started strong and finished slow. Great psychology by Mr. Geiger to reverse their modus operandi.

By slow start, they probably were talking about their pathetic 2nd and 3rd quarters. Never think a Michigan guy will sack up and say, "You know what, we got beat today. Hats off to them."
