Fun with a Michigan Fan

Hello Buckeye Fans,

First, I'm not a fan, but I come in peace and I'm looking for your help. Here is the situation:

My buddies and I go on a trip each year. We pick a different city and it either focuses on going to an iconic football stadium or just the spot (think Vegas or New Orleans) but regardless we always do it during football season and spend the majority of the time watching football and hanging out.

This last year, during March Madness some of us (5 total guys) placed a wager that went like this:

- Slots 2 - 4 had to pitch in $20 a piece to buy a jersey/shirt
- Winner gets to pick said jersey
- Loser has to wear said jersey during the annual trip on either Saturday or Sunday depending on if it is a College or Pro jersey.

Anyhow, we had a two-way tie for first so we are deciding what jersey we should make him wear this year, and this is where you come in. Our buddy that lost is a huge; die hard Michigan fan.

We've come up with the following jerseys to make him wear:

- Troy Smith (since he went 3-0 against Michigan)
- A custom OH St jersey with "01" numbers and "Ann Arbor Swallows" as the name plate
- A custom grey/red shirt that says "Michigan Cheats"

Then it hit us...who better to decide than a bunch of die-hard Buckeye fans? If you guys want to throw in what you would most like to see a Michigan fan wearing...we can make it happen. We will also be happy to come back and post some pics of the event in exchange for your help...

:biggrin: this is shear shear brilliance.

I would say go with the Troy Smith jersey and then take a CRAZY amount of pictures of him in it. Then you could get some resale value out of it.

If ya don't care about resale value, then that second one is my personal fav!

How about a Brutus costume with a strategically placed Wolverine? Ideally bent-over in front.

I did an extremely rough mock up to demonstrate...

Crude, crass, lewd, etc.? Absolutely.

But that's gotta be one of the more humiliating things a Michigan fan could wear.

LOL, I love the Brutus idea but we pretty much limited the bet to jersys. I think a mascot outfit would be a tough sell. Resale value is not a concern though as long as we saty within $100 on the shirt.

No matter his embarrasment over Hot Rod, anything with OH St colors will definitely be worse for him. I wonder if we could potentially represent the Brutus idea somehow on the front of a jersey. It might be cheesy as heck but I feel like that would just enhance his experience. :) Keep the ideas coming!

since the bet is strictly a Jersey, i would say #16 Craig Krenzel. He lead a major upset in 2001 that no one saw coming and set the tone for Tressel's pwnage of scUM for years to come. Beat them again in '02 and led the Buckeye's to a national championship. And the best part is that CK is from Michigan.


or you could let him off the hook completely with the Jersey bet....and just make him wear an Ohio State sweatervest, gray pants, and pair of sneakers.

Wow, Boren never even crossed my mind. It doesn't necessarily have to be a jersey - it can be a customized jersey or shirt. I'm thinking we could do quite a bit by getting a Brutus jersey and customizing it as well after the screen shot from mross. LOL, at the OSU sweater vest. That would actually be epic but I doubt he'd get into the full getup.

You could have a lot of fun with 'where amazing happens' (if you wanted to get really corny it could be spelled a-maize-ing


App St, Toledo, The Catch Colorado, The Catch Gonzo, Tyler Ecker running out of bounds vs Nebraska, tate Forcier's jazz hands, etc.
