I go through Zanesville frequently on my way out of Ohio from C-Bus. I sneezed once and almost missed it. I hear you guys have a great ice cream place there though.
Tom's Ice Cream Bowl.

Isnt Zanesville and Hiliard about the same size? I am actually from a much smaller place than Zanesville.

Zanesville has about 30,000 people.

The problem is that Zanesville stretches from North to South not East to West which is the direction you travel through on I-70.

That's why it doesn't seem big when driving through on the Interstate.

Portsmouth makes Zanesville look like Las Vegas. Talk about a shitty little town.
I don't know enough to argue for/against either town. I was in/out of Portsmouth in a couple hours, and all I've seen of Zanesville is a couple of exits off the freeway.

Zanesville used to have a pretty big baseball tournament every year that was the biggest and farthest one we'd travel to (actually i played with the Xenia team for that tourney, so i guess it wasn't that far for them, but i came from Huber)....teams would come from all over though.........Thump is that still a big deal down there?

i remember being bored out of my damn mind on that hour and a half or so drive

Are you talking about the State Babe Ruth Tourney? If so, yes, it is still a big deal. Played at Gant Municipal Stadium. Great time.
