I need some help . I know very little about Ohio State College Football Team as Im from UK but my son is a big fan and i want to surprise him with a replicate helmet for his Christmas. I see a black one and a silver one on ebay but dont understand why the two colours. I dont mind spending a few $ but i need help and advice on getting a good one. can anyone help me source a good one which my son would really appreciate

I see all of the options you are probably seeing. I was not aware that all of those alternate designs were out there.

As @BuckeyeNation27 said/linked, the silver helmet with no logo is the traditional OSU helmet. Buy the Buckeye Leaf stickers separately and add them yourself and it looks exactly like what the players wear.

So if you want to use Ebay:

seems like that helmet is missing a few more stickers that just the leaves....but could be just the angles of the pictures.

I didn't know if he wanted to make it fully authentic or just hit the important parts.

They have full sticker kits on Ebay if you want to get the B1G sticker and all that as well.

I'm a stripe and leaves are good enough kind of guy
