Full Moon = Weirdness?

Do you think a full moon causes people to act stranger than normal? My wife is a nurse and she swears the patients are always the worst during a full moon.

I think its psychosomatic, some people think the full moon causes weird behavior therefor they 1) act weird cause they can get away with it or 2) believe it actually is causing them to act weird.

I believe that most women are on their cycle during said time.

So yes...that causes craziness

I used to work in a dormitory style facility with 23 adults with MR/DD... full moons were brutal... damn, I can't even put into words how bad it would get!

I've heard this from ER doctors, policemen, you name it. The reason - you can see what you're doing at night. More complicated reason - ever stop and think that the female menstrual cycle and the lunar cycle both being 28 days is more than coincidence? Maybe as a species we're just more sexually active on 28 day cycles...

The menstrual cycle was one of the first "clocks".
