There's been a lot of talk from Florida people (on other message boards I visit) saying it's pretty widely known that he uses drugs. But could just be talk.
And for the people wondering about whether this Lyme disease diagnosis is correct, well from a poster at Gator Country (Florida scout site):

Re: Wyatt Sexton Diagnosed With Lyme Disease - www.scout.com <HR SIZE=1>All the way to PA for a professional opinion becaue he couldn't get diagnosed closer to home? I wonder what hospital this Dr. Swami has privlidges at. Froma google search looks like the guy is more of an "expert witness" than an MD. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
I did a search at google and there are a couple court reports from this Dr. Swami. I don't understand the legal talk, but I think what I get from them is that he uses this "lyme disease" diagnosis often (for worker's compensation I think?).

Re: Wyatt Sexton Diagnosed With Lyme Disease - www.scout.com <HR SIZE=1>Apparently, I have too much time on my hands and could not take my own above advise about letting this go. I did a yahoo search on Dr. Swami and found the following interesting quote from a case in which the good doctor, a general practitioner, testified for the plaintiff:
From the Worker Compensation case In The Matter of Stout:
"The record also contains a July 1, 1996 report from Dr. S. Chandra Swami, a general practitioner and attending physician, who made a “confident diagnosis” of Lyme disease. In making the diagnosis, Dr. Swami stated:
“I am an innocent victim of this disease due to my love of nature photography. My nurse and one other staff member have it as well as a few of there [sic] family members. My dog dies of this illness….”
By decision dated July 9, 1996, the Office denied appellant’s claim finding that the medical evidence did not establish a definitive diagnosis of Lyme disease as there were no positive immunologic titres (blood tests); nor did the medical evidence establish a causal relationship between appellant’s claimed condition and his federal employment."
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
edit-there's some more talk on the validity of Dr. Swami and this diagnosis on warchant (FSU rivals site) and pretty much the other Florida school sites. Don't feel like copying and pasting all the posts concerning Dr. Swami/Lyme disease and Wyatt Sexton though. But it is interesting stuff.
