Fresno goes for it on 4th & 2 at UC's five. A pass to the FB in the flat is picked off and regurned to UC's own 29.

They're still doing it. Maybe their producer keeled over and died sometime in the 3rd quarter. They weren't doing that earlier in the game.

Fresno has to really be regretting going for it instead of kicking the FG. Even with the subsequent UC TD it would still be a one possession game for Fresno. With as long as it take them to move the ball and get into scoring position being down two scores now is huge.

Yeah, UC has been striking quickly in the passing game, and Fresno has been content to chew up the clock.
Pat Hill is doing a pretty good Lane Kiffin impression right now. He's down late but doesn't show atoo much urgency to come back. UC has defeneded the pass pretty well today but Fresno has given them some trouble running between the tackles.
Down 8 with 3:55 left, UC has to punt. They pin Fresno inside their own 10, and they're gonna have to put the ball in the air some if they want to have a chance to tie the game.

Fresno gets a delay of game penalty coming out of the TO on 4th & 2.
Now 4th & 7, they throw over the middle and it's broken up.
UC's gonna hang on to win. Defense is definitely a weakness for this team, especially vs. the run.
