Free MS Office?

best free software on the net is open office bar none

i prefer using it to excel when at home.

all files can be saved as MS files too so you can share files with anyone.

I've had no complaints with it and the price tag can't be beat. The one feature it has over Office is it can convert documents into PDFs.

You don't need Open Office to print a pdf, get PDF creator. It's a free "printer emulator" that "prints" to pdf files. http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/

www.cutepdf.com is another for free PDF's. Works great.

only thing with open office, dosent have an equal to outlook. thunderbird is free and for email use, imo is better.

In addition to Thunderbird, download Sunbird too.

An alternative would be to get any one of a number of PIM desktops, such as Palm Desktop, which you can download for free off their site -- you can still use all the features of the software without actually owning a Palm.
