Free HD backup software?

Can anyone recommend a good, free HD backup/restore program? I know Vista has a built-in backup program, but it seems clunky and lacks the control I would like.

You could try PING, for a disk imaging program. I've started using it, and it does work, but it can be a bit complicated.
