I can speak from experience... they are both voids in the middle of nowhere.
Denver isn't a city, it's just a huge suburb.
FC is a hole populated mostly by mediocre college students and mexicans working at Super Walmart. It's barren in the summer and winter. And it's... well... extremely boring if you ask me. Only good thing is that you're close to the mountains.

FC is a hole? I didn't get that impression when I was there about 5 years ago.

And don't talk that way to FCollins.

Considering that 5 years ago you had to go to Loveland or Greeley to watch a movie... I'd say my point is proven. They've got a real theater now, at least... though it's pretty easy to scam through if you wish.

The 'Metrolex' isn't my idea of a quality theatrical experience, but whatever. The old Carmike was a passable cinema (the new one is pretty nice, with the stadium seating and whatnot), and there's been a 'cheap' $2 theater here for 7-8 years. Besides, we still have a drive-in. :p

Downtown FC is a truly vibrant cultural center, at least for a ~120,000 person city. The Lincoln Center and the Aggie Theater bring great music to the area, there are unique galleries, good restaurants and fun bars, not to mention great outdoor events throughout the summers.

If dinner at Chili's and a $10 movie at the Metrolux are your idea of a good time, then please, enjoy Loveland and Greeley.
