Forming local Buckeye Backer's club. Help!!

I live in Eastern NC, near 2 Marine Corps bases. There is a huge fan base here, and I would like to start a Buckeye Backer's Club. I am very interested in ensuring I do nothing to jeopardize this club. I am curious if anyone knows if I need to obtain permission from the university, or anything like that before I add any image or logo? The group is just going to be a local club that can get together at a sports bar to watch OSU games, and show our support as a group. Nothing for sale, nothing to promote other than our support. Any words of wisdom or advice would be most appreciated.

I have to say, Beaufort is one of my favorite little towns. I'm a sailor and have stopped in a few times heading south before jumping outside. If you can, try to set up a sign or something near the town docks. You'll definitely get some extra snowbird traffic from Yankees heading south for the winter.

If I found a Buckeye club right in Beaufort while I was heading south, I might not leave until after The Game! :cheers:

Actually, I got that list straight from the OSU Alumni Assn. website I linked, though the BP list is a good resource as well.
