Former DC Kerry Coombs (Former Cincy Bearcats Interim Head Coach)

Hopefully he retires or works as a consultant and just relaxes. He's earned the time away and to himself if he'll take it.
I know it’s a pipedream, but I’d hire him as analyst to work with the DBs in a heart beat. His speeches would make anyone run through a wall.

But you’re right, the man has earned a nice retirement. He’s coached everywhere hes ever dreamed to coach and is a certified legend in his hometown. I remember meeting him years ago in Cincy at a barbershop when he was recruiting Amir Riep. Funniest, down to earth guy, it helped that most of the shop had no clue who he was (but me)

He doesn’t want to retire!

He’ll be dead within 2 years!

Yeah they are! Its a shame what's happened to the program in the last 10+yrs
The entire district is a mess. How Stoinhoff didn’t go hard after Tyler Williams will never sit right with me.
Not sure if the district or the program will ever recover. People outside of Cincinnati only think Colerain was a successful program because of Coombs. Truth is it has been a competitive and relevant program dating back to Cosica and before him in the mid 70’s.
But don’t get my started on the Colussi years. Those were my years playing. lol
