For the Parents - When did you move the kids from crib to toddler bed?

Here at the Buttocks we never transitioned into a toddler bed, just directly to a twin bed... we made this switch when they first showed signs of crawling out of the crib (usually around 18-24 months.)

IMO, the toddler beds are just a waste of money. You can put a few slats on a bed frame and just put the twin matress on those... when they are used to being in a bed and not falling out, put the box springs under it... put the money you'd spend on a toddler bed in their college fund.

the crib we have converts to "Transitional Bed, Child's Day Bed and Full-Size Bed"

so the only extra that we needed were the rails, and then the bigger mattresses as she grows.

Very nice, and just think in like 14-16 more years you'll catch her banging her boyfriend on that bed.
