Lessons learned

I wore mine every day for years...

Wife watched a movie in which this thug was robbing a convenience store.. some customer (old lady) screams and covers her face with her hands... monster diamonds showing... he demands she take them off.. she can't get them off.. so he cuts off her fingers to get them.. wife freaks.. has both of our rings resized...

Our rings were very ornate but also somewhat delicate vs traditional big ol' basic gold band... so when they resize they also weaken.. this is gold.. more gold, the softer the metal

Lifting weights.. ring would constantly get out of round (egg shaped).. so I'd take it off to lift.. BAD MOVE... you will eventually lose it.. we're males.. and if you're lucky like me, you'll get it back... unlucky, it's gone forever..

You take your ring off - you will end up losing it...

Every so often, back to the jewelers to get it round again..

One day, lifting.. ring gets so egg shaped can't get it off.. and it's cutting circulation.. enough soaps and lubes.. finally get it off... on the 'one more chance' before to the hospital to get it cut off..

Resizing can be hazardous
Taking it off can be hazardous
Lifting weights with it can be hazardous
Shoulda just had a gold tatoo done !!!

When I was working in a jewelry store, there was a couple that had a huge fight over whether or not he would wear a ring. They left fuming... and when they came back the next day, he had a tattoo around his ring finger. Seemed to do the trick. :p

I try to wear mine.... except when I'm masturbating with my left hand...

I mean... the whole point of using lefty is to make it feel like someone else is doing it... and.. well... that's not the time I want to be reminded I'm married.
