for the first time in the history of the ohio state university, both the mens and womens teams are ranked in the top 10.

Correct, although assuming they both win it outright (OSU beats Purdue) that'll be the first time that any team has done it in the big-10 period where neither of them even shared the title.

OSU basketball is coming alive. they are going to finish this great season with great wins in the B10 tourney and the NCAA tourney.

W-Bball plays tomorrow at noon to start their tourney run and will have great wins too.

OSU sports all together are really getting tough. most athletic teams are ranked this year

It's the first time it's been done in one of the 6 power conferences. It had only been accomplished previously by BYU and Utah.

Now let's make some runs in the NCAA and really make this something to talk about.

BTW - Only ONCE since 1963 has a men's BBall team lost fewer games than this team will have lost when all is said and done (27-4 in 1990-91). Unless, of course we run the table - then you can go back to 1962.

It is going to be very difficult for Oden and company to top this one.

some... i would say no matter what you thinkg of the man, the department is in much better shape than when he showed up in town.
