Not sure if this is the right forum so mods please move if need be.

I wanted to share something I have come across as a parent of a youth baseball player and while some could say this is a plug for product/service I can tell you that I honestly look at it as helping other parents avoid arm issues for their kid so hopefully everyone takes it that way. I know I would appreciate it if anyone shared something here that helped me by helping little Jax. So anyway........most people know there is an epidemic of arm injuries for pitchers in professional baseball but not everyone knows its even worse for youth players. Here is my advice, having gone through the travel ball wars as a parent of aa talented young pitcher;

  1. Pitchsmart.org: Go to this site. Take the time to listen and absorb everything they are saying.
  2. They are telling you that arm injuries are waiting to happen for kids due to over use and poor mechanics
  3. Pro Motion Arm Saver: Go to the site, learn about it and get one of these things. It is money well spent.
I know the site seems salesy but I just stumbled across this guy here locally by dumb luck and I can't recommend him highly enough. Half of my sons travel team go to him now after they saw the change in little Jax's pitching this past year and asked me what the difference was. All I said was "go see Frank" and they all joined up on their own. Based on all the positive feedback from that I'm 100% comfortable making a shameless plug to anyone else because I don't really give a damn if anyone doesn't like it. Kids need someone looking out for them and this guy is the best.

The guy (Frank DiMichele) happens to make the only thing I have found (and trust me I've done some serious digging around) that focuses on arm safety FIRST and then performance. Using his device and methodology gets your kids arm the off season rest it needs while improving mechanics which is the entire crux of the arm injury problem.

Stepping down off soapbox now but seriously, if your kid pitches at all, even rec league go listen to what Dr Andrews and others say then check out the device and what Frank is saying. You will thank me.
