For golfers, how many rounds do you get out of your grip?

Just had my ball retriever re gripped - and that lasted me two years.

Just put a set of Talon grips on my Glock, old ones lasted me 4000 rounds and one pistol whip.

Do you use interlocking, overlapping, or baseball grip. I switched, years ago, to overlapping

The experts say you should regrip after about 40 rounds. I have gotten way more out of them than that.
