We play in a league where we have to actually play in a championship game to win the conference(novel idea). Not in one where a team (Purdue) can potentially win the league without playing 2 of the top 3 teams in the conference.

you play in a league that thinks there is logic behind playing an undefeated team and a 4 or 5 loss team to see who is more deserving of being the conference champ. forgive me if i feel things should be handled a little differently in the big 10.

since you think this is such a wonderous thing to do. please tell me how your conference would handle 3 1 loss teams? what about 4? what about 5? guess the brain surgeons in the big 12 didn't think that far ahead huh?

Purdue can win your conference without even playing tOSU or Michigan. Yet you some how think our system is less fair. Spare me the sanctimonious crap.

Depending on the circumstances and divisions I presume it would be much better than a conference that decides by coin flip between two undefeated Big televen that didn't play each other ( '02 Iowa and '02 tOSU).

The Big XII has nothing on the Big 10, there shouldnt even be a discussion. Put Texas or OU in the Big 10 and they dont finish inside the top 3 on a regular basis. On the bright side, At least OU wont be your first loss this year.

There was no coin flip. Our #2 position in the BCS sent us to the Fiesta Bowl.
