High school football is pretty much where the fun ends, it all turns into business after that, whether in the big bucks world of College Football, or the sick-bucks world of the NFL. I'd bet my life that a majority of kids playing College Football would admit in private that the game itself is not that much fun, that they play it because it's what they're good at, and it's getting them a College Education, it's giving them a shot to make MIllions in the NFL.

You may be right with this point. But how do all those guys who are walk-ons who are seniors, and have been at the bottom of the depth chart their entire college careers? Some of these guys are below freshmen. And yet they go to practice every day, play hard, and do what they do. They aren't on the teams for a college education. I don't think they believe that they have a shot at making millions in the NFL. At least, I should hope that they don't.

I realize that you say that a "majority" of the players think the game is not much fun. And the example I've given is definitely the minority of the players. I guess that I just like to believe that ALL of the kids like the game (regardless of the truth), and I'll try to come up with examples to support my belief when I can.

I think that whoever made this decision needs to be punched in the face, and then we'll all yell, "Hail, President Scroob!"
