This thread made me crave steak last night so I bought a couple at the store yesterday. I'm cheap so I wasn't going to pay $15 for a good steak. Instead I got a big cheaper steak for $5. I seasoned it up and threw it on the grill. I cooked it for 4 or 5 minutes per side then turned the grill off and let it sit on the top rack for 10 more minutes. By the time I ate it it was still mooing, but I'll be damned if that wasn't an awesome tasting steak. It was so tender and bloody in the middle. I guess the trick to keeping a cheap steak tender is to barely cook it.
