On second thought, I think I do a have a food phobia. I think I'm afraid of this new culinary masterpiece:

burger_195.jpg

"The ballpark sandwich will include a hamburger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon -- all between a "bun" made of a sliced Krispy Kreme Original Glazed donut.

If you can find a (loop)hole in your cardiologist's advice, calorie counters predict the monster will set you back about 1,000 calories and 45 grams of fat."

Split Pea Soup

My mother sent me to school with a thermos full of the stuff when I was in 3rd grade. I wasn't feeling well that morning but still went to school. About five minutes after lunch I was projectile vomiting in the little boys room.

Jello. You cant trust anything that jiggles that much. Oh and Potted Meat Product. What is that stuff anyway? The name implies that it is something that is produced by potted meat. A more accurate name might be Potted Meat By-Product. One of the ingredients is Partially Defatted Beef Fatty Tissue. There is something truly wrong with that. Finally, while we are on the subject of food that may or may not be "real" food, Pasturized Processed Cheese Food. I would likely start removing and consuming my own body parts before eating any of these things.

Red Stew. Or should I call it commie stew?
Growing up in eastern Ohio there were some lean times in our house. So, once a week we had "one pot night". Left overs were thrown in to a pot with a tomato base, red stew.
This by itself would not have been so bad, but I realize now my mother was a horrible cook! And the one rule in my parents home was.
"You will not miss supper with the family."
Unless I had been run over by a semi, or attacked by wild dogs and had both my legs chewed off, I had to attend. No excuses!

No commie stew in my house. Ever! [nosmiley]
